Publication Ethic

JURNAL IDEALITA is a national journal of Islamic counseling and education that focuses on studies related to educational guidance and counseling and is published twice a year in print and online form by LP2M LP2M (STAIFA) Pamekasan. So this explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the publication of articles in JURNAL IDEALITA, including authors, editorial boards, and publishers. This statement is based on COPE's Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Publishing Ethics Guidelines

The publication of Articles in the JURNAL IDEALITA Journal is a means for academics This journal accommodates three Study Programs (Prodi), namely Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Education (PGMI), Islamic Counseling Guidance (BKI) and Sharia Economic Law (HES). So that the substance of this Idealita article is a research and discussion with nuances of education, pesantren, culture, social and religious as well as economic law and its development. Articles published in the journal JURNAL IDEALITA will be reviewed by scientific methods. Therefore, it is important to agree on the standards of ethical behavior that are expected of all parties involved in publishing, namely: authors, journal editors, publishers, and the public.

LP2M (STAIFA) Pamekasan as a forum in the publication  of the journal JURNAL IDEALITA is responsible for overseeing all stages of publication seriously and acknowledging ethical and other responsibilities. In addition to being committed to ensuring that reprint advertising and other commercial revenue do not have an impact or influence on editorial decisions, the institution is also committed to assisting with communication with journal managers and/or other publishers as deemed useful and necessary.

Publication Results

The editor of JURNAL IDEALITA is responsible for deciding from which the submitted articles must be published. Article validation is important for researchers/writers, so readers should always support the decision. Editors may be guided by the journal's editorial board policy and limited by legal provisions as must be enforced regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. Editors may consult with other editors or a team of reviewers in making decisions on which articles are eligible for publication.

Fair Treatment

Editors always judge manuscripts based on their intellectual content regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, and nationality of the authors.

Concealment

Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about the manuscript submitted to parties other than the author, expert editor, and publisher.

Notices and Conflicts of Interest

Materials that are not published and disclosed in the submitted manuscript may not be used in the editor's own research. Without the author's written consent.

Objectivity Standards

The assessment carried out in the journal JURNAL IDEALITA is ensured objectively, while personal criticism of the author is not justified. The assessor must clearly state their views using supporting arguments.

Source Acknowledgment

The assessor must identify relevant published works that are not cited by the author. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument has been previously reported must be accompanied by a relevant citation. An evaluator must also ask the editor to pay attention to any similarities or overlaps between the reviewed manuscript and other published writings.

Notices and Conflicts of Interest

Confidential information or opinions obtained through assessments must be kept confidential and should not be used for personal gain. Judges should not consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest arising from a rival, collaborative, or otherwise relationship, cooperation, or connection with any author, company, or institution related to the writing.

Reporting Standards

The author should present an accurate report of the work created and an objective discussion of its significance. The main data must be accurately represented in writing. A piece of writing should include enough detail and references to allow others to repeat the work. Fraudulent or deliberately inaccurate statements are unethical and unacceptable behavior.

Plagiarism

Checking related to plagiarism scanning, the journal JURNAL IDEALITA uses Turnitin and Google Scholar media to see the level of plagiarism in submitted articles.
