Financial Technology dalam Keuangan Syariah: Landasan Konseptual, Peluang, dan Tantangan

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong munculnya inovasi dalam sektor keuangan yang dikenal sebagai financial technology (fintech). Dalam konteks ekonomi Islam, fintech syariah hadir sebagai bentuk integrasi antara teknologi keuangan modern dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep dasar fintech syariah, peluangnya di Indonesia, serta berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur terhadap berbagai artikel jurnal ilmiah, laporan penelitian, serta sumber-sumber akademik yang relevan dengan topik fintech syariah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa fintech syariah memiliki potensi besar untuk berkembang di Indonesia, didukung oleh jumlah penduduk Muslim yang besar, perkembangan teknologi digital, serta peran strategis sektor usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Selain itu, fintech syariah juga berpotensi meningkatkan inklusi keuangan serta memperluas akses masyarakat terhadap layanan keuangan yang sesuai dengan prinsip Islam. Namun demikian, pengembangannya masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan regulasi, rendahnya literasi keuangan syariah masyarakat, risiko keamanan sistem digital, serta keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sinergi antara pemangku kebijakan, pelaku industri, dan masyarakat untuk menciptakan ekosistem fintech syariah yang lebih kuat dan berkelanjutan di Indonesia.
