Publication decision

The editors of the Al Ula Journal: Journal Of Islamic Primary Education are responsible for deciding which articles to submit to the journal should be published. Validation of the work in question and its importance to the researcher and reader should always drive the decision. Editors may be guided by the journal's editorial board policy and limited by legal requirements that will apply at the time regarding defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. Editors may consult with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.

Fair play

An editor at all times evaluates a manuscript for its intellectual content without regard to the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.

Concealment

Editors and editorial staff should not disclose any information about the manuscript submitted to anyone other than the appropriate author, reviewers, prospective reviewers, other editorial advisors, and publishers, as appropriate.

Disclosure and conflicts of interest

Unpublished material disclosed in the submitted manuscript may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.

Reviewer Duties

Contribution to Editorial Decisions

Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions and through editorial communication with the author can also assist the author in improving the paper.

Accuracy

Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in the manuscript or becomes aware that a quick review is not possible must notify the editor and apologize from the review process.

Concealment

Any manuscript accepted for review must be treated as a confidential document. They may not be shown or discussed with others except as permitted by the editor.

Objectivity Standards

The review must be carried out objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees must express their views clearly with supporting arguments.

Source Acknowledgment

Reviewers must identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the author. Any statement that observations, derivations, or arguments have been previously reported must be accompanied by relevant citations. A reviewer should also call the editor's attention to any substantial similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under consideration and other published papers that they are personally aware of.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts where they have a conflict of interest resulting from competition, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any author, company, or institution related to the paper.

Author's Assignment

Reporting standards

The author of the original research report should present an accurate account of the work done as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data must be accurately represented in the paper. A paper should contain enough detail and references to allow others to replicate the work. Statements that are fraudulent or deliberately inaccurate are unethical and unacceptable behavior.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors should ensure that they have written a work that is completely original, and if the author has used the work and/or words of others, this has been appropriately cited or cited.

Duplicate, Redundant or Concurrent Publications

An author should not, in general, publish a manuscript that essentially describes the same research in more than one journal or major publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time is unethical and unacceptable publishing behavior.

Source Acknowledgment

Proper recognition of the work of others should always be given. Authors must cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the work being reported.

Paper Authorship

Authorship should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, implementation, or interpretation of the reported study. All people who have made significant contributions must be listed as co-authors. If any other person has participated in a particular substantive aspect of the research project, they must be recognized or listed as a contributor. The appropriate authors must ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included in the paper and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have approved its submission for publication.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

All authors must disclose in their manuscript any other financial or substantive conflicts of interest that may be interpreted to influence the outcome or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project must be disclosed.

Fundamental errors in published works

When an author discovers significant errors or inaccuracies in his or her own published work, it is the author's obligation to immediately notify the editor of the journal or publisher and to cooperate with the editor to pull or correct the paper.
